What age should I buy this for?
Start at 12 months if she's stacking already. Peak fun is 2 to 5 years. But honestly, my 6-year-old still builds with them. Catherine McCulloch called it 'perfect gift for any babies' 1st birthday' and she was right. If you're buying for a specific age, these grow with them.
Are they actually solid wood?
Yes. Sustainable wood, hand-finished, painted with water-based paint that's safe for mouths. Heavy in the hand, not hollow plastic.
