Toy of the Week - Week 9

It’s now just 4 Weeks til Christmas, which means we are announcing our ninth Toy of the Week for you! In the run-up to the Festive Season, Jaques will be announcing a Top Toy every week based on the best benefits for your little learners. 

Counting Kids 

This week’s Toy of The Week for ‘Numeracy’ is our… Number Activity Set! 

Our beautiful wooden number set makes a really unusual and useful gift for a pre-schooler. Marvellous Maths 

This activity set is a fun and interactive way to engage your little learners with numeracy. With this set, your kids will begin to recognise number as quantity by using the colourful, wooden, counting sticks. The board features a range of tiles that contain a mixture of 1 and 2 digit numbers. Use these tiles to practice counting up and down and sequence numbers. The mathematical board, which doubles as the sliding slide, contains a clock face with moveable hands. After graduating in 2009, his career has enabled him to work in areas such as Child Development and Psychology. As a great believer that learning starts at home, he combines his experience with his own parenting style to help bring other families together.
Jess Casson

Jess graduated from the University of York in 2022 with a degree in Sociology and Criminology; kickstarting her career in the creative marketing industry through content creation and social media management. One of these roles involved creating content for a children's holiday camp, which alongside a knowledge of Montessori Teaching, formed an interest in childhood development. Utilising her expertise in both these fields has allowed her to promote and share her passions with the online community while exploring her talent for writing and establishing collaborations.

Interior Designer, Laura Henderson, lives in Surrey with her husband and two daughters.
