Toy of the Week - Week 3

Toy of the Week – Fine Motor Skills

It’s now just 10 Weeks til Christmas, which means we are announcing our third Toy of the Week for you! In the run-up to the Festive Season, Jaques will be announcing a Top Toy every week based on the best benefits for your little learners.

Helping Hands

This week’s Toy of The Week is perfect for developing ‘Fine Motor Skills. It is our Hammering Bench!

Beautifully designed by UK teachers, this has been lovingly created in the UK with your little ones in mind. Tool-based construction games are great for learning hands to grasp and explore, helping to develop nimble fingers. This hammering bench comes complete with a traditional wooden hammer and accompanying wooden pegs.

This is a great gift for tiny tots who are beginning to explore the world around them. The bright colours send signals to the brain to engage their cognition. So, this construction toy could propel them into becoming an engineer, astronaut, or neuroscientist—the world is in the palm of their hand.

Gift n’ Lift

One of the great things about and tactile toy like this one is the multiple sensory benefits it brings. As well as developing strength and agility, playing with this toy encourages precise movement and accuracy. Such play can bolster your baby’s core brain processes, meaning they develop much faster.

As well as the sensations this toy delivers in terms of handling and holding, it delivers multiple sensory benefits like hearing the hammering soundstop-quality toy for tots that are developing life skills like concentration, focus and coordination. As a perfect introductory shape sorting toy, toddlers will benefit in abundance.

Colours of the Rainbow

Our wooden hammering bench is not only designed to support your child’s development, it is also a beautiful wooden toy which will look beautiful displayed on a shelf or in the playroom. The addition of a variety of bright colours will help your kids to recognise colours. Also, the colourful rainbow design is visually stimulating

Let’s Fix It!

This hammer toy is perfect for developing problem solving skills and improving concentration. Your little learners will need to figure out how to fit the pegs into the slots and will grow to understand the correct way to hold the hammer. Moreover, the action of hammering the pegs into the bench requires a great deal of focus. Developing concentration skills early is massively beneficial for your kid’s development.
