Croquet mallets are handcrafted from the same English Ash, Lignum Vitae and other beautiful woods that have always been used. The Corrigrip mallet is made from wood that has been laid in 'Stick' in the Jaques factory for over five years and Every single croquet Mallet takes over three man hours to complete from start to finish.

The finest laser Tuftex Lignum Vitae Croquet mallets, as used in the finest Jaques Croquet set, The Sandringham 8 player, are currently being produced from The finest timbers that was added to Jaques fine wood cellar in 1982. This Timber has to be put in stick for this amount of time due to the density and oil content of the wood. It is the only wood in the world that sinks in water. Lignum Vitae makes the Finest Croquet mallets in the world - there is no contest.
