Rounders Set - Stick, Posts and Ball Complete Set for Family Games

The Jaques' Family Rounders set features solid wooden posts for setting out the rounders court. It also features a beautiful rounders bat  with Jaques patented Rubber Grip handle, a Jaques' safeplay rounders ball and full instructions.

The History of rounders starts in Great Britain and Ireland during the reign of the Tudors. The game centres on innings where teams of up to nine on each side take alternate turns in batting and fielding. Points (or 'Rounders') are scored by the batting team by completing a circuit around the field through four bases/posts, without being put 'out'. Jaques' have been making rounders equipment for over 50 years and this new Family set offers the game at a more affordable price, albeit without the hand crafted finish Jaques are famous for.
