Home Made Play - Make your own Play dough!

Everyone knows playing with playdough is awesome.

Yes even us parents love to play.

But did you know?

It has many uses and doesn’t just make a mess. Continuing our homemade play theme this week we have included our favorite playdough recipe for you and the kids to try 

Why we love it? 

It can be squeezed, squashed, rolled, flattened, chopped, cut, poked and shredded! Each one of these helps develop fine motor skills in their own way, not to mention hand-eye coordination. 

By adding ingredients 

you can make your playdough a sensory development activity – try adding glitter for texture 😊  

Why make your own?  

By making it yourself you know exactly what has gone into it! No surprises or unwanted chemicals & dyes. The customization options are limitless, you could add any colour you likeinclude sparkles and even natural flavours or essential oils. Try adding a lavender scent to encourage a soothing experience for your little learners.  It has a proven therapeutic quality! 

You can also use everyday household items to enhance play.
