Garden Dominoes

The 'Family' range is a new concept which brings the quality of Jaques Games and repackagaes this 210 years of expertise and presents it in a more affordable "Family" range. Although the exact origins of Dominoes are unknown it is believed the game evolved from a game called Alquerque played in ancient Egypt as early as 600 B.C. Jaques were making Dominoes sets and game tiles as early as 1795. The game features in our early pattern books and it would appear that the tiles were almost certainly made from ivory. Standard sets today include 28 pieces, each of which consists of a line dividing it into two squares and a number of spots (or 'pips') in each square end.

Family Dominoes Set
