Snakes and Ladders

Snakes and ladders is a classic children's board game, a superb indoor game for the whole family to enjoy year round.

Jaques Snakes and Ladders board design is an exact copy of the original Snakes and Ladders board game design and features a circular route, instead of the more common side-to-side route found on Snakes & Ladders boards today. Each handmade board comes with four solid wood playing discs, wooden dice and a soft natural carry bag. This board game is a must for any family wanting to own a piece of history.

Snakes & Ladders is played between players on a board. The playing board is divided into squares that on some feature snakes or ladders that either hinder your progression forcing you to go back several squares or allow you to progress along the board to reach the last square. To move on a Snakes & Ladders board, players take it in turns to throw a die, which tell the number of squares the player must move their along. If a 6 is rolled, the player may take another turn. The object of the game is to finish exactly on the last square.
