Wooden Bagatelle Game

Jaques' Bagatelle game is based on our original design as supplied personally to Queen Victoria. History records the existence of table-based games back to the 15th century, and a 19th-century Jaques' Bagatelle set is lovingly preserved in the Jaques' museum. . While some Bagatelle sets used the side-rail pocket system of some modern Bagatelle game boards, others became smaller and had the holes placed in strategic areas in the middle of the table. This is what gave Jaques the idea for their recently re-named Hit-a-Pin Bagatelle game board. Jaques' Bagatelle game board design is now the standard Bagatelle game board design for playing Bagatelle all around the world. Each individual Bagatelle board is beautifully constructed from traditional dark Mahogany with a luxurious green baized back and brassed pins. Our Master Bagatelle game is complete with 20 chrome steel balls and a copy of Jaques’ original rules and instructions dating back more than 100 years.
