John Jaques II’s game of Croquet took the world by storm, with matches in far flung Russian provinces to Abraham Lincoln’s Cabinet playing on the White House lawn.
Established in 1795, Jaques London is one of a handful of companies over 200 years old still in the hands of the original owner’s family.
Jaques London might not exist today if not for the miraculous survival of the original Jaques pattern book, the blueprint for every game ever made by the company, when the London factory was destroyed in the Blitz.
Jaques Giant Fireman skittles is another themed skittles set from Jaques that includes 6 handmade and hand painted wooden skittles that resemble the uniform of traditional British fireman. We also include 3 hand turned wooden balls for bowling down the skittles and it all comes in a luxury carry case for easy transport and storage.
