Badminton Racket
The sport of Badminton originated from a game called Battledore and Shuttlecock in which two players hit a feathered shuttlecock to each other with tiny rackets, but it wasn't until much later that the game's official name became Badminton. This game is played today in either singles or doubles and the badminton players are positioned on opposite sides of an oblong badminton court divided in half by a net. The players in the game use their rackets to score points by striking a shuttlecock so that it passes over the net and lands in their opponent's half of the court. A rally ends once the shuttlecock has struck the ground, and each side may only strike the shuttlecock once before it passes over the net. Although played at international and Olympic level sport the nature of badminton makes it ideal for recreational garden play. This racket is the PowerPlus 1080 one-piece alloy Badminton racket, suitable for players of all levels.
