John Jaques II’s game of Croquet took the world by storm, with matches in far flung Russian provinces to Abraham Lincoln’s Cabinet playing on the White House lawn.
Established in 1795, Jaques London is one of a handful of companies over 200 years old still in the hands of the original owner’s family.
Jaques London might not exist today if not for the miraculous survival of the original Jaques pattern book, the blueprint for every game ever made by the company, when the London factory was destroyed in the Blitz.

We started making sets over 100 years ago with our wooden rackets and distributed them throughout London stores, such as Harrods and Fortnum and Mason.This Jaques' County Garden badminton set comes complete with steel Badminton set posts, all-weather Badminton net, guy ropes, 2 alloy rackets for total control, heavy weight outdoor shuttles and a strong canvas carry bag.
