Established in 1795, Jaques London is one of a handful of companies over 200 years old still in the hands of the original owner’s family.
Jaques played an essential role in WWII when MI9 commissioned the companies skilled craftsmen to transform innocuous games into vital escape and evasion kits.
During WWII, maps, currency, even compasses concealed in Jaques games, aided some of the 35,000 POWs who escaped the Germans.
Jaques London might not exist today if not for the miraculous survival of the original Jaques pattern book, the blueprint for every game ever made by the company, when the London factory was destroyed in the Blitz.

This completely new advance in construction sets another level in table design. With an extremely simple up and down Buttonlock folding system, the table is fully patented and complies with the latest EU safety specifications and regulations. The subframe and undercarriage on this Ping Pong table are constructed from strong box section tubular steel, with an impact resistant anodised silver finish, and the superfast top is thermobonded, giving extra strength and superb playing characteristics. Special moulded corners are fitted for protection and safety, and, as with all Jaques tables, a central white line is provided for doublesplay. Locking ball bearing wheels are fitted for stability and safety, and the strong posts and net stay permanently in position. Simple assembly is required with simple to follow pictorial instructions, and a helpline is available in the unlikely event of a query being encountered. Bats and balls are included with this table from our Ping Pong Table Shop, and in the upright storage position the table has a small footprint of 170 x 50cm, and a height of 165cm.
