He was world champion for several decades, until he was well into his fifties, and continued playing the game socially well into retirement. Jaques' Solomon Mallet was designed by John Solomon himself and has been expertly crafted by Jaques' Master Craftsmen ever since.The mallet features a Lignum Vitae head fitted with solid brass rings and protective Tuftex faces to provide protection and help control long shots. The handle is made from Hickory and has a wind-on competition grip. Each mallet also bears John Solomon's signature.
