Playing of the game
Each player is in control of one of the two sets normally coloured in white or black. The White generally moves first and then followed by the players alternate moves. Making a move is compulsory and is not legal for a player to "pass" a turn. Play is continued until a king is checkmated, a player resigns, or a draw is declared.
