It is presented in an exquisit hand crafted solid oak box, with the 'Staunton' red lable placed in the centre of the best English black baize lining the inside of lid, where, origionally, it was placed to advertise this unique design. The Chess set is a fantastic replica of the 1930 edition, which  Jaques Of London produced, with a solid oak box.
