Jaques croquet yard line pegs are placed on all four court boundaries, one yard from each corner flag.  This defines an imaginary line where balls are played in from, on each occasion that a ball comes to rest either outside the court boundary or outside this imaginary line.  The set of eight pegs are regulation wooden pegs, painted white for ease of visibility.
